1. What type of counselling do you offer?

I offer 1:1 online counselling sessions via Google Meet. My approach is primarily person-centred, meaning I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. I also integrate existential therapy concepts, which can help explore deeper questions about meaning, choice, and personal growth.

2. Is online counselling effective?

Yes! Many people find online therapy just as beneficial as in-person sessions. It offers flexibility, accessibility, and a comfortable space to talk from wherever you feel safe.

3. Is my information confidential?

As a BACP-registered counsellor, I follow their ethical framework, which includes strict confidentiality guidelines. The only exceptions are in cases where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, in line with ethical and legal obligations.

4. How much do sessions cost?

Each 50-minute session costs £50. Payment details will be provided upon booking.

5. Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes! I offer a free 30-minute consultation to explore your current challenges, discuss your hopes for counselling, and see if we’re a good fit to work together.

6. How do I book a session?

You can get in touch via email (inthismomentcounselling@gmail.com), or using the button below to arrange a free consultation. If we decide to work together, we’ll schedule sessions at a time that suits us both.

7. Do I need to Install anything for online sessions?

No, Google Meet works directly in your web browser. Before each session, I’ll send you a secure link—just click to join at the scheduled time.

8. Do I need to commit to a set number of sessions?

No, there’s no fixed commitment. Some people benefit from short-term support, while others prefer longer-term counselling. We’ll review your needs as we go.

9. Can I have sessions at the same time each week?

Due to other commitments, I can’t guarantee a fixed weekly slot. However, if you’re open to some flexibility, we can work out a schedule that suits us both.

10. Do you offer in-person sessions?

Not at the moment, but I hope to offer in-person counselling in the future. For now, all sessions are held online.

11. Where do you offer counselling?

As I work primarily online at the moment, I can offer counselling to anyone living in the UK. To ensure safety, I would need to collect some personal information from you such as address, location at the time of the counselling session, and emergency contact details.
